In Yoga and Ayurveda we practice connecting and aligning with the rhythms of nature for optimal balance and vitality. This therapeutic workshop encompasses many of these practices and concepts that boost physical and mental wellness, resilience, and vitality. The intention of this series is to gain clarity and direction, create a plan to move forward, build confidence and motivation, and build habits that support your wellness to help spring yourself forward in the coming season, day, year, and this part of your journey. In Yoga, a Sadhana practice is a daily self-awareness and self-care routine to support overall vitality and to help cultivate a satvic (balanced) life. It is comprised of many yogic techniques to help practitioners build a personalized approach to whole body health and wellness. Find out more HERE

So what does self-compassion and self-care look like? It starts with speaking kindly to ourselves, being mindful of our thoughts and actions, acknowledging our feelings, honoring our efforts, purifying the mind and body, regulating our nervous system, balancing our energy and much more. Do you have foot pain, knee pain, back pain, or pain elsewhere in the body? Foot Yoga might provide you with some relief. How we use our feet is the foundation for how we stand and move. It’s known that problems with the feet, such as flat feet or plantar fasciitis can often show up as back pain, and those with flat feet tend to have misalignment of the knees, hips and low back. A strong base of support from the feet can help to support a healthy back and overall posture. Find out more HERE

Feeling balanced can mean something different to everyone. However, can you feel steady in your feet or stand on one foot if your mind is unbalanced and it’s thoughts are distracting you? Just as balancing movements can strengthen concentration, stillness in meditation can sturdy your stance. Building balance and stability physically, emotionally, and energetically involves slow, repetitive, controlled movements and challenging dynamic movement, steadying both mind and body. Proper alignment isn’t exactly the same for everyone. That’s because we are all built differently and have had experiences throughout life that have conditioned us into certain patterns. When we look at yoga asana and alignment cues they too vary and are unique per individual. Therefore, proper alignment is whatever provides your body the most integrity and function as you move. Posture, however, is also directly related to the alignment of our bones and joints along with the wear and tear on these areas of the body. In this program we join to focus on hydrating, strengthening, and lengthening key muscles used for hiking, and the opposing muscle groups to support muscle balance. We will release anteriorly and strengthen posteriorly to support posture, and identify movement patterns that may be restricted to help create ease and fluidity. In this series we will also discover what fascia is and explore the facial lines of the arms, legs, and core to help reduce tensions and strain in the body,. Take yourself to new heights. Then this series may be what you need to help support the body and mind in preparation for a good nights rest.
